The SF flotation cell is a mechanical flotation machine designed for mineral processing and ore beneficiation. Its backward-inclined double-blade impeller promotes continuous slurry circulation inside the flotation cell, helping maintain solid particles in suspension during flotation.
The auxiliary blades promote circulation in the lower part of the cell, supporting coarse mineral particle suspension and helping reduce settling. The SF design is suitable for ferrous, non-ferrous and non-metallic mineral flotation.
When the impeller rotates, a negative-pressure zone is created inside the impeller chamber. Air enters through the air pipe and center tube, while slurry is drawn into the impeller chamber through the center tube and circulation openings.
The air and slurry are mixed in the impeller chamber and then discharged through the impeller and cover plate. The mixture is dispersed into the flotation cell to form mineralized bubbles for froth flotation and mineral separation.
The SF flotation machine uses a backward-inclined double-blade impeller consisting of main and auxiliary blades.
The main blades assist air and slurry suction, while the auxiliary blades promote lower-cell slurry circulation and increase the distance between the impeller and tank bottom, helping reduce coarse sand settling.
